Bristol Mum Festival Cancelled Due To Weather
BRISTOL — A decision has been made by the Bristol Mum Festival Committee, in consultation with the City of Bristol, to cancel all Mum Festival activities for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, including the Mum Festival Parade, out of an abundance of caution for the public’s safety in anticipation of severe weather. The forecasted high wind gusts and heavy rain would not be safe for our vendors and Festival attendees.
The Mum Festival Committee will be reviewing ways to bring elements and traditions of the city’s signature fall festival to other events over the coming months. The committee and its sponsoring organization, the Bristol Exchange Club, will be in touch directly with affected groups, vendors, individuals, and parade participants.
