2019 MUM PARADE ROUTE:

Start at Race Street

  1. Left onto West Street
  2. Left onto School Street
  3. Right onto Church Street
  4. Left onto South Street
  5. Left onto East Street
  6. Left onto Memorial Boulevard (West Bound)
  7. Right onto Main Street (Parade Ends on Main Street)

Left onto Riverside Avenue Extension Right onto North Main Street

NOTE:  Parade Participants (Those in the parade), Continue on Main Street, take a Left onto Riverside Avenue Extension, and a Right onto North Main Street.  There will be Mum Festival Officials that will assist you on exit of parade route.  Third and Fourth Divisions can Break down on either side of Riverside Avenue, or go onto North Main Street.  First and Second Divisions can break down on either side of North Main Street.

The Parade will officially end on Main Street to Riverside Avenue Extension to North Main Street.  Spectators should avoid these streets as they are the end of the performing route.  All units will disperse as they travel onto Riverside Avenue Extension and North Main Street.

The Parade will end between Riverside Avenue Extension and the beginning of North Main Street.  For spectators, the parade will not continue down North Main as it did in the past.

BINGO! A Bristol Mum Festival Tradition Continues

– Mum Festival to Host BINGO Event on September 15th-

Bristol, CT., August 22, 2019 – The Mum Festival Committee, in keeping with this year’s theme of “Growing Together”, is pleased to announce that this year’s Festival will once again feature its highly popular BINGO event which will be co-sponsored by the Bristol Polish Club on the afternoon of Sunday, September 15th.

As one of the Mum Festival’s Season of Events, BINGO will once again be held at the Bristol Polish American Citizen’s Club located at 541 N. Main Street in Bristol.

“Mum Festival Bingo is one of our most popular fundraisers and we can’t thank the community enough for their support as we continue the tradition”, said Maria Montelli-Tramazzo, Mum Festival Fundraising Chair. “Mark your calendars for a fun-filled afternoon of Mum Festival BINGO on Sunday, September 15th.”

Doors open at 11:00 am and games will start at 2:00 pm. There is a $10 admissions package with tickets available at the door. Ticket sales will begin at 12:30 pm. Additionally, the event will include specials at $1 each, two winner takes all games, a 50/50 drawing along with raffles and door prizes. Food will also be available for purchase with Free coffee and tea.

“This promises to be an afternoon event that everyone will enjoy”, added Jack Ferraro, Mum Festival Chairman. “Maria and the team have been hard at work to make the day special. And, BINGO is a great way to start off our Mum Festival Season of Events.”

Over the course of the Mum Festival weekend (September 19th – 22nd) the 2019 Mum Festival will feature a carnival (Friday night through Sunday night) with amusement rides, dozens of vendors from area businesses, crafters, local producers, restaurants, food trucks, community organizations, non- profits, and museums. Admission is free, and new for this year is a reworked Thursday night program that will feature “Jazz Under the Stars”, Art, Food Trucks and Refreshments.

“The greater Bristol community really enjoys this fall tradition each and every year” Maria continued.  “Coming out for BINGO helps us raise the funds we need to produce the Mum Festival and our committee is looking forward to seeing all of the BINGO players out there at the Bristol Polish Club for our special event.

To All Food Vendors:  We reserve the right to limit duplicate food items at the Festival. We will be discouraging gross duplication of major food items in order to preserve a fair market share for all participants in the event, so be sure to apply quickly!  This does not apply to hot and cold beverages, as all food vendors may sell these items in their booths.

Payment Methods:

All payments must be made by credit or debit card online.  

For credit or debit card payments email: mum.festival.events@gmail.com and a Festival Representative will send a special Link for Online Payment along with your invoice number.  If you have already been approved, and have an “Invoice Number”, please go to our Vendor Payment System to make your payments.

Parade goes right by the Historic MBS Field on Sunday!
